Unfortunately creator of that mod will not make it for Single Player. (I also support a charm inventory with limited space similar to Path of Diablo. Easy as LoD -direct -txt mod for a mod Project Diablo 2 Released Hack 'n' Slash My favorite mod for Diablo 2 is for sure Path of Diablo. Even if it isn’t just a /players 8 command or anything and an actual selection when you create a game I think it would be a net positive change that doesn’t impact the core gameplay or nostalgia. It’s no different from torment levels in D3, and as much as I think D3 isn’t even close to a successor to D2, having a difficulty+reward slider would be good for replay value.
It was more rewarding but more difficult. If you’re new to D2, in D2Lod you could type “/players 8” in offline, open bnet, or pretty much any modded version of D2 and it would set the difficulty of the game and the rewards to be that similar to playing in a full party.
Along with Brevik’s suggestion to remove stamina+instanced loot, I think players 8 should be implemented for solo/duo/whatever play even on bnet/online servers. It’s a single player command that they want implemented into the multiplayer game just so they can get an 8 player game without 7 others to leech off of them.
